Owners Wayne and Martha Marshburn take great pride in providing the best care possible
for the children. Special attention is given to the development needs of each child to ensure
they have a pleasant and rewarding day at the center. Martha is in charge of coordinating
the teachers and directing the center - a role for which she is well qualified. She has
extensive formal training in child care and continues to attend related seminars. Wayne is in
charge of maintenance, security and organizing special outdoor events. Little Ponderosa is
licensed with the Texas Department of Human Services and is a member of the Texas
Licensed Child Care Association.

songs and stories, we try to share the love of Christ and teach children fair play, moral
values and respect for one another. (and yes, we say grace at mealtime.)
